In the eighties I began my career in Costuming, having finished studying Fashion Design at East Sydney Tech. Then I worked for more than a decade in every medium available for a costumier i.e. Theatre, Television , Film and the Opera.

I was always attracted to the effects of colour, texture and fabrication whether it was found in fashion, costumes or interiors.

Eventually I set up my own business (in Avalon and Leura), specialising in unique shoes and clothing. This also allowed me to design, manufacture and sell my own clothing. Many resources were poured into the interiors of both shops .The first started out as ‘Coelho’ (Avalon), which went on to become ‘Cicero’ (Leura)in the second.

In my heart I knew that the creation of an inviting and unique interior would be part of what would keep bringing back my clientele… and I believe it did just that.

Whether I’m working in fabric, artwork or clothing design/construction, I’m fulfilling a life-long passion to create the best possible surrounds to bring a sense of ease and response to what surrounds me and my clients.

That beauty,  I believe, is  life-giving.
